Did you try hitting the super key and just typing terminal and pressing enter?
You should get something that time. Also, control alt t is the hot key for the terminal not one of the
numerals on the top row. Try that and see what happens. I seem to recall it working on the live cd before I
installed mine.

Hi,
I downloaded the latest version of Ubuntu, and I was trying to get to a terminal window for some CLI work,
and I cannot get one.
I tried alt + F2 and typing sudo terminal, or just terminal.
I also tried control + alt + all the numbers, and I cannot get a terminal window that way either.
Is this a bug, or a bad download, or by design?
