[orca-list] chattiness with Gecko lists

Hi all.
The commit d74be3354d2b6b840ced8a6f92be64489bb43a15 has the following 
comment:
Try to minimize some of the excessive chattiness with Gecko radio buttons

My question is:
Is it possible do the same for lists?

In attach a html to demonstrate the chattiness in lists.
This is not new in orca 3.11.
