Re: [orca-list] accessible audio editor

Stopping playback always returns you to the editing cursor. You can move
the editing cursor to the current playback time by pressing the left
square bracket before stopping playback with the space bar. This
normally starts a live selection, but it seems to simply move the
editing cursor to the point where you pressed the bracket if you stop
playback without closing the selection. Playback always starts at either
the editing cursor or the beginning of the selection, so if you have a
part of the track selected but don't know where exactly your editing
cursor is, you can press either the left or right arrow followed
immediately by the opposite arrow to clear the selection. Playback will
then start at the editing cursor.

Granularity simply means the amount of time that the editing cursor is
moved through the file with each press of the left or right arrow key.
For a shorter amount of time, press control 1. The amount of time
shortens each time you press control 1. To lengthen the amount of time
the cursor moves, press control 3. To reset to the default, press
control 2. Hope this helps.
