In latest at-spi2-core and at-spi2-atk version I found two interesting
performance related problem in Orca preferences dialog. When I try do a
page tab switch, need waiting about 4 second my machine to Orca
spokening and presenting braille display the next page tab related
informations.
Reproducation steps:
1. Launch Orca, and activate Orca preferences dialog with Orca
modifier+space key combination.
2. Press TAB key, and press a shift+tab key. Caret navigation lands the
general page tab.
3. Press some right arrow keys. When the caret lands the voice page tab,
need waiting my machine 4 second before Orca spokening the voice tab text.

Temporary I reported for Orca this issue in Bugzilla and attached a
debug.out file, report link is following:

Not only page tab switching I experienced this issue. When I jump for
example in Braille page the contraction table combo box, before Orca
spokening the informations need waiting about 4 second.

This is a known issue with at-spi2 2.9.4?
