So if Orca isn't getting the keystrokes from at-spi, this problem is in
either at-spi or in the qt-at-spi library. Sadly, it seems that if the
problem is with qt-at-spi, it's likely not to see a fix, as it's
essentially dropped in favor of the at-spi support included in qt5. I
hope more qt applications are ported soon, although it seems necessary
for someone familiar with the low-level code to continue maintaining
qt-at-spi for those qt4 applications that aren't yet ported, or that
likely won't be ported for some time. Thanks for the clarification.
