Re: [orca-list] Accessible Distros

Hi.

I took a look at Anaconda after reading this post. It looks like a very interesting bit of software to mess with. I'm intrigued by something that can "install linux on scores of computers simultaneously" It's in pygtk+ so, hopefully, Joannie isn't having to work too hard at making it accessible. Isn't pygtk among the easiest to script for a11y?

Hello, Joanie.

This is great news! Thank you so much for sharing it. I had been trying to find out some sort of solution to this for quite a while now.

Thanks again for the news! I look forward to testing this when it does become available.

I hope that, someday in the near future, one could be able to install
Fedora completely using Orca.
I'm working on that. I've already been in touch with several people from
RedHat. I have built Anaconda and related modules, and have slowly but
surely been making patches for Anaconda and friends. Once I am finished,
I will submit those proposed changes to the appropriate teams at RedHat.

Take care.
