Hi,

symptoms:
1. English voice of the eSpeak is stable.
2. Russian voice changes the speech rate spontaneously.
3. During the reading by char, synthesizer reads non-alphanumeric symbols in Russian.
4. In the stream of speech synthesizer reads these symbols in English.

I added non-alphanumeric characters (such as !,_,#,@,etc.) in ru_list  (the dictionary should be recompiled), 
to fix the problem for the Russian voice (including the rate jumping ).

Seems, Orca does not replace non-alphanumeric symbols in the speech stream (replaces only when reads by char).
As a result, these symbols come to espeak.
The dictionary of the eSpeak English voice includes the replacement of these symbols, but dictionaries for 
other voices do not.
