Re: [orca-list] Problem with orca and webkit in epiphany

Hello,
I think I have found another bug, not sure whether its in orca or webkit. Here is a simple test:

1. Go to www.bbc.co.uk/radio4
2. Select the "Programmes" link.
3. View all programmes in a given category (eg. under the heading for Drama I select the view all link). 4. Cursor down the page far enough to go through the list of programmes (IE. go as far as at least the description of the first programme).

Expected: On cursoring down the title of the programme will be announced when passing over it. Actual: Orca does not announce the title of the programme, the only way to get the title read is to cursor back up the page from below the title. Even after cursoring back up the page, when you cursor down again the title still is not spoken. This bug is on down cursoring only.

Configuration is still as initially listed with webkit 1.6.1.

Thanks for adding those bug reports.

Thanks for reporting them!

Would you like
some heavy testing of webkit over the next few days/week/2weeks so you
have a decent amount of feedback before that event?

Absolutely! If you could get me a list of test cases, providing for each what you did for this code example site, it would be quite helpful.

Is webkit 1.6.1 new enough,

I think so, yes. If, in any given test case, what you see and what I see wind up being different, I can always test on a machine where I have 1.6.1.

Thanks again. Take care.
