Hello Jason!
I did see both of those. I dismissed metaUML, since it said, it was a library. OK, somehow I didn't see, that it was a LaTex package. This would allow me to draw all sorts of diagrams, but I think nothing more than that. The UMLet did sound interesting. When I first saw it I wasn't sure, if it would be accessible, Java and all. OK, so now I hve three alternatives, that I might look into. I think that is enough for a start.
