Hy Storm,
Ok, I think this keystroke will be good.
if more users accept this default keystroke for this future function, I
simple change the keystroke and attaching a new revision. I think not
need doing other work for this function related, need only a review for
a commit right have developer and commit the final revision if my patch
is full good.
If any user future want changing this keystroke with another binding,
possible doing this the Orca preferences dialog/keybindings page.
Note: if you for example copy a screenshot to clipboard with Screen-shot
Maker dialog (for example after you press Alt+Printscreen key
combination), you how can detecting the screen shot image right placed
the clipboard? Now, because we looking only textual objects, Orca
spokening this situation "no text in clipboard". This is matter?
If you copying for example from file browser selected files to
clipboard, Orca of course right spokening the selected files absolute
paths, for example:
"Clipboard text:
/home/storm/test.txt
/home/storm/test2.txt"
Perhaps need changing from the "Clipboard text:" notification message to
"Clipboard object" message.
More users would like hear this notification message before Orca
spokening the clipboard awailable objects, or based your actual used
implementation enough simple send the clipboard awailable output for
speech sinthesizer and braille display?
More users prefer this second method because faster get the required
information without sending chattines notification message always?
An other way to look the actual verbosity setting. If the verbosity
setting is verbose, still spokening the notification message. But if the
verbosity setting is brief, simple sent awailable detected clipboard
object to speech sinthesizer and braille display.
What method better?
Attila
