Yeah, I have similar observations.  I wasn't aware I could get the
form navigator tool bar from the view menu but I thought I saw it on
the form control bar.  In any case, you're exactly right; choosing an
item from the form control toolbar appears to turn on the item;
actually, those controls like checkbox, textbox, list, etc. are
mutually exclusive; turn one on, the other turns off.  In any case,
The helps just keep saying "click here, drag there"... and we can't do
that with the flat review keys but the toolbars don't seem to work as
I would expect or at least I can't find a way to use Orca to build a
form with these controls.  That's why I put up the question here.
That is something I can do with MS Word almost easy as a breeze with
Window-Eyes.  I just see it as another functionality I'd like to be
able to do in Linux as well.  It might be possible but I don't know
how to place these controls without click, drag and drop <sigh>.
