Re: [orca-list] Thunderbird Badly Broken!

Hi Storm,

If you use ubuntu, you can find a .deb package in public PPA for Ubuntu Mozilla Daily Build Team repository.

Google for "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main" .

You can contact me in case of dificulties.

Hi,
Is there a 64 bit version available?  I checked the download page and didn't find it, maybe it is somewhere else?
Thanks for the help

Hi Jacob, well, I think we can disreguard my previous post. I looked
around and found a different directory to download from and I now have
version 3.0B instead of 3.0A. I replaced the contents into my
/usr/local/lib and all is working fine now. In fact, I'm lovin' this!
The gmail setup was excellent and I'm replying with the 'list-reply'
function. This latest version is really cool! In fact, it works much
better here with Orca than it does with Window-Eyes. The only other mail
program that has a list-reply function that I know of is mutt so I was
tickled pink to see that function added heere. I also love the
notification if a thread is collapsed or not. The windows screen readers
can't point that out.

So again, sorry folks for the false alarm; I now have thunderbird
working and this may give mutt some serious competition.
