Hello Peter, hello list,
is there an estimation for when an accessibility API is planned for JavaME?

Lulu-Ann,
At this time there isn't a general Java Micro Edition "accessibility
API", which is the way a screen reader like Orca would get the
information it needs from a JavaME app in order to make it accessible to
blind folks.

Hello list,
does Orca run und mobile devices and is it able to read from Java
programs? (J2ME)
Or is there another non commercial screen reader?
I want to code a non graphics Java navigation software using free
geodata.

Thanks
