Ok, updated to testing, so that all dependency problems were avoided. Gnome and all depending python packages were updated to 2.24.* Orca now compiles fine, it seems hard to get these packages on a stable (lenny) system... You'll probably have to update to the next ubuntu version unless you can find another way to get knewer versions of gnome packages installed. Thanks for all replies, Dan.
