Even I am Interested in Speech-dispatcher.
Where did you get the exact instructions aruni?  Can you update the
liest or blog about this somewhere?

If I am right, we we have to use alsa instead of pulsaudio for
speech-dispatcher to work?
By the way I am Using Lenovo Thinkpad R60 and Orca with ubuntu 9.04
works perfect, although I found some problems with the Live cd and the
installer.

My lenovo netbook also works fine and orca reads complete words and does
not statter like it did on the live cd.
