Hi Hermann.

The 3rd column contains two links: The install and the portable version. Orca splits this column in two rows.

Aha! Well that's an entirely different matter. Thanks for the update.

It's not being split into two rows exactly, but rather two lines. There
is a line break in between the install and the portable version. (i.e.
each version really is on a separate line within that table cell).

OK, I meant two lines, just being not exact.

You only get there by using the links navigation or to go to the next table row and tehn arrow up one line.
And I think this is odd.

I hadn't noticed that, but I agree with you: We shouldn't be skipping
over that.

So I think this table should be revisited in order to fix the odd display.

I agree with you on this point too. Well, at least the need to revisit
that table. :-) The odd display resulting from the line break ain't our
fault. <grin> In all seriousness though, our UI lead and many of our
community members have stressed the value of presenting what's on the
screen as it appears on the screen. And the offending line in that table
cell is mostly certainly it's own line within each of the cells in
column 3. So Down Arrow needs to take you there rather than skipping
over it. And it might be nice if Orca's table cell navigation commands
spoke the full cell content so that you knew the offending second line
was present. :-) I opened a bug to deal with these issues:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=554616

Thanks too, and I think one of the NVDA developers - Peter Vagner - is on this list, so he can perhaps explain the appearance of that table.
