[orca-list] setting up thunderbird

i have downloaded the file for the latest thunderbird i think and 
i have uncompressed the file.
however i can't seem to be able to find an executable to run it.
all i seem to be able to find are things like shell scripts.  
there was a thunderbirdddexe as a binary but entering on it 
seemed to have no effect.
what am i doing wrong?
