using ubuntu hardy,
I'm trying to see if I can update to the latest version of orca. I'm going
through the steps listed on the wiki and some of the updates via apt-get have
generated screen upon screen of errors. I usually sudo into root when I plan on
using commands like apt-get or editing configuration files, so when I write out
the commands listed I omit the sudo part as I've already done that.
I don't have a list of any of the errors but they
were mostly parse and syntax errors and not having anything to do with
permissions. Do I need to do this at the ubuntu box? I was trying to ssh into it
and do it that way. Would it have made any
difference?
