Re: [orca-list] Orca question with Hardy Beta

Dear List!

Stewe, you wroted:
"I figured that was a problem with using a read-only medium like live
CDs. Never gave it much thought beyond that. That's one reason I
felt I had to dive in and actually install gnome/orca to get the real
feel for it."
Ok, it is true and not true my openion. It is interesting. The ubuntu home directory is not in the tmpfs filesystem or ram file system? I don't know. Because if I setted my orca preferences and click ok button, quit and run Orca again, the new settings has take effect, i think the home directory is writeable because the settings not lost before the restart.

It's not a big problem, but interesting. Why ask the Orca with preferences, and why need quit and restart Orca if we would like take effect the new settings?

Thanks,

Attila
