Re: [orca-list] Orca-2.21.92 Flat Review Bug

Hi David:

For various reasons, mostly which are historical and not understood very well, the NumLock key is a very toxic key for X Windows in general. If it were taken out back and put out of its misery, I would not complain.

We have a couple related bugs on this subject, which I hope we can get to early on in the GNOME 2.24 release cycle:

To me, this is a bug, but for different reasons. In my opinion, when NumLock is turned on, flat review shouldn't work.

I guess we'll need to wait until after CSUN, but the Orca developers will need to determine if the NumLock key is irrelevant (flat review mode always works) or if flat review mode only works when NumLock is not selected.
