There is a separate GUI frontend to mplayer (not the mplayergui that
comes with mplayer). I haven't tested it yet so no idea if it's
accessible or not...you can grab it from here:

If you talk about gmplayer, it's the GUI of mplayer. Unfortunately this
part is completely inaccessible; it's not developed with GTK.
