Could you please turn Debug to 1 in
 /etc/speech-dispatcher/modules/espeak.conf
reproduce the problem and send me the logfile
 /var/log/speech-dispatcher/espeak.log privately to hanke brailcom org ?
Looks like a problem in the synthesizer.
