Hi,
Yes, I figured this out earlier on after I had sent the message, smile.
I have been playing around with Opensolaris now for a few hours and to me it's stable. However, i need to 
download and install drivers for my ethernet card. Also, the shut down menu is not read by Orca.
Also, i am not able to see my other partitions when navigating the computer
