Does it happen every time? I just had SayAll read about 10 minutes
worth of ChangeLog using Orca from SVN trunk (svnversion 3231) and it
didn't seem to stop. I was using FreeTTS on Solaris Express Community
Edition b76 (GNOME 2.20.0).
I wonder if your TTS engine might be choking as the result of getting
some strange sequence of characters that turn into a TTS engine command?
If you poke at it more, are you able to make the behavior predictable
(i.e., does it happen in the same spot every time)?

The last time I saw this spacifically, I was reading the change log text
file included in SVN version of orca. I was in text edit and after reading
a bit it would stop. Had to reinvoke say all again.

Mike, Darragh:
Do you have a specific test case we can start poking at? For example, the
exact application you are using, the exact content you're doing a SayAll
on, and the caret position when you invoke the SayAll? Even if this seems
to happen everywhere, giving us a specific test case will help us a lot in
tracking down the problem.
Thanks!

I think this is a bug, I've noticed this also. Mike

Hello all,
I'm using the laptop layout here at the moment but I've noticed this
problem with the desktop layout as well.
I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 and the latest version of all packages. I also
have the latest branch of orca from gnome-2-20.
When I issue a say all with caps lock and ;, Orca intermittently stops
reading, either at the end of a paragraph or close enough to it.
I can resume it again of course but it intermittently stops reading it
again.
I don't remember this happening in previous versions of Orca.
Is this a bug or have I just stumbled onto a strange zomby on my
system.
Thanks
