Hi,

I am using the package which is pprovided with  feisty.


Many synths with gnomespeech are using oss.
E. G. Festival.
Espeak uses the libportaudio library. Afaik this lib can use alsa output but it does not work under feisty.
I don't understand why it wored before switching to sd?
Have a look to my mail where I described the procedure to get alsa
working with gnomespeech.
