Additional notes:
I checked the help files more closeley and found the switches I didn't 
know:
-n = no-daemon - stay in the foreground
-p = set up pcm-device, I think that's speech related.
The brailletable is invoked with -t, and -A requires an argument (don't 
know when this is useful, I never needed it).
