Hello,
I am looking for the conf file that contains settings for the log in
screen for Gnome.
I've broken something and I cant log in again.
I should really just stop messing with this thing.
Could someone please point me in the right direction?
So far my investigation has turned up the following:
there is a gdm.conf file in /etc/X11/gdm and in /etc/gdm/ renaming
both files has not fixed my issue.
There are a few other gdm.conf files in /usr/lib but I doubt their
relevant. Are they?
I've also coppied a factory-gdm.conf file that was in /etc/gdm/ to
gdm.conf but again, no joy.
How can I restore the log in screen to it's previous state?
Thanks
Oh, I'm using Ubuntu 7.4
Darragh
