Hello! I do indeed read this list though I've been mostly lurking :)

I've filed a bug against update-notifier here: 
https://launchpad.net/products/update-notifier/+bug/53091 and I'm CCing 
Michael Vogt so he gets the extra information from this email.

More generally, I'm very pleased to see these reports on secondary 
applications coming in  (ie. not just on the access apps themselves). 
I've been trying to devise a plan for getting more of this kind of 
general testing done, but it's been slow so far (see: 
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+spec/accessibility-testing) 
Joanie, Cody and others: please feel free to file these sort of bugs 
directly in our bug-tracker against the relevant applications: 
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+filebug
