Yes! The correct way to go about this would be to file a changes request and have
a discussion. I would love for that to happen. Would the NM team be interested in
doing that?
Some thoughts about this:
- It would be great to also get some feedback from the maintainers of
network-scripts about their intentions
- The change document should also provide some instructions how to
migrate existing connections to keyfile to help testing this, maybe
there could even be a helper script to do this
