Nathan, the USB551L doesn't support AT$NWSYSMODE apparently, at least
all I can get it to return is ERROR.  It does appear to support AT
$CNTI=0 though.  Can you ask the Novatel people whether this is expected
between a 551L and a E362?  They both use the same chipset and they are
both for Verizon, so I would have assumed the command set would be the
same.

Also, do we plan to support the older non-LTE/non-QMI devices with the
'novatel' plugin?  Or should we rename this plugin to 'novatel-qmi' and
have a 'novatel-gsm' and 'novatel-cdma' for the legacy (MDM < 9xxx)
devices?
