Got it working. My fault was, i have loaded usbfs via fstab.
As a result, the link to the driver was broken.
$ ls -al /sys/class/net/wlan0/device/driver
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 0 18. Jul
23:21 /sys/class/net/wlan0/device/driver ->
../../../../../../bus/usb/drivers/rtl8187
After removing the entry in fstab, NWM is working again and
'system-config-network' displays one correct wlan0 device with the
description.
