I can confirm that it works with latest 0.7 packages
(https://edge.launchpad.net/~network-manager/+archive/ppa); i can
maintain keyfile connections even if there is an ifupdown connection
configured.
Maybe there was a bug in the version we shipped in jaunty (0.7.1 git
commit: cf199a964)?
