Cannot get NM to run

Darren,
The onboard wireless is only b, I wanted the faster g to prevent my laptop from slowing down the entire network.
Lspci tells me it's an Atheros NIC AR5005VL 802.11bg (rev01). I am using Driverloader by Linuxant which is based on Ndis wrapper to load the XP driver for the card.
