emblems are so overused for a multiple of things, and not always shown.
I think it makes more sense to have a solid new "type", which means a
separate icon.

That ends up using a *lot* of space though. And the search editor is
already taking up a lot of space. I'm not sure why, but the glade file
shows the combo box as much taller than when what nautilus shows.

Its not there if you have an indexed backend like beagle. Then searches
are "instant apply".
I don't know if the reload icon is perfect here. It strikes me more like
redoing the old search rather than applying your new changes.

Maybe.

Its possible to theme the color used. I think its a nice way to show
that this is a special form of location, and not a standard toolbar.
