this becomes a nautilus issue when you're using a pure gtk based
program that uses the gtk fileselector (or mozilla file selector for that
matter), which will not and should not be converted to be ximian like,
since this would create circular dependencies. so it's a moot point.
the only two possible solutions
1. create desktop folder that isn't hidden.
2. use the home dir.(not a bad idea, now that i've spent more time
thinking about it, tigert it's growin on me, just need to make sure that
program specific files stay hidden).
