I as was agreeing with Pete.  What happens if you just an individual
track (as in you have a bunch of singles rather than whole CDs?).  The
current method for searching for a track is more efficient.  I can see
your idea implemented into the current Add Album dialog, but not a
replacement for the whole setup.
