"Poky is a cross platform build and development environment, building
the gnome mobile software stack and specialising in targeting small
formfactor devices from phones and PDAs through to netbooks. It also
showcases best practises in developing for such platforms and has an
array of tools such as IDE integration with anjuta, performance
measurement tools, remote debugging capabilities and image emulation
using QEMU. It has a sample GNOME Mobile based integrated user
enviroment, called Sato which is designed for devices with VGA sized
high DPI touchscreen displays such as those found on smartphones and
PDAs. Sato will sit neatly on top of any device using the GNOME Mobile
stack, providing a well defined user experience."
