   In the editor, press F9, go to Options and then General. Then outside of
   the editor go to Options and "Save Setup"
GREAT. How I love `mc`. I just need to keep up with the IMPROVEMENTS.
And we're so lucky that `mc` took a good editor as default -- spouse.
