Got the patch. May be I buggered up my editing, but I had to apply hunk
1 by hand. Anyway, the patch works for bash, tcsh and zsh. That includes
paths with spaces and/or high runes.
Fellow n00b note: bash, tcsh and zsh are the shells mc can use reliably
as subshells.
Figures I forgot this...
bash --version
bash 2.05a.0(1)-release (i386-slackware-linux-gnu)
About as long as a Microsoft version string.
