Follow-up Comment #8, bug #15758 (project mc):
More info by the way you can check (long path strings involved):
a) dont know if it is important but using for hdparm the following confing in
/etc/sysconfig/harddisks
USE_DMA=1
MULTIPLE_IO=16
EIDE_32BIT=3
LOOKAHEAD=1
EXTRA_PARAMS=
b) The tar.bz2 file is withing the following folder:
/mnt/local/data40gb/data/work/DS2/DS2-ARC-GNU-Toolchain/working/rpmbuild/gcc-arc-linux-2.95.3-pl7/gcc-arc-linux-2.95.3-pl7-1.0.1.tar.bz2
And it's extracted in the following top-level folder:
/mnt/local/data40gb/data/work/DS2/mc-bugs/
b) I reproduced it again in newlib folder and only in it for the same files:
/mnt/local/data40gb/data/work/DS2/DS2-ARC-GNU-Toolchain/working/src/pl7/gcc-arc-linux-2.95.3-pl7-1.0.2/cns11643_plane14.cct
Vs
/mnt/local/data40gb/data/work/DS2/mc-bugs/gcc-arc-linux-2.95.3-pl7-1.0.1/newlib-1.12.0_ds2/newlib/libc/iconv/ccs/binary/cns11643_plane14.cc
and
/mnt/local/data40gb/data/work/DS2/DS2-ARC-GNU-Toolchain/working/src/pl7/gcc-arc-linux-2.95.3-pl7-1.0.2/newlib-1.12.0_ds2/newlib/libc/sys/linux/include/netinet/ip_mroute.h
Vs
/mnt/local/data40gb/data/work/DS2/mc-bugs/gcc-arc-linux-2.95.3-pl7-1.0.1/newlib-1.12.0_ds2/newlib/libc/sys/linux/include/netinet/ip_mroute.
and
/mnt/local/data40gb/data/work/DS2/DS2-ARC-GNU-Toolchain/working/src/pl7/gcc-arc-linux-2.95.3-pl7-1.0.2/newlib-1.12.0_ds2/newlib/libc/sys/linux/include/netinet/ipprotosw.h
VS
/mnt/local/data40gb/data/work/DS2/mc-bugs/gcc-arc-linux-2.95.3-pl7-1.0.1/newlib-1.12.0_ds2/newlib/libc/sys/linux/include/netinet/ipprotosw.
These are examples, still more available,
Anyway, try to reproduce it with the current paths you can see here, if not
succeeded, i'll recreate the whole tar.bz2 from common sources from GNU and
i'll upload the file as you can do.
Again,
TIA
Jose.
