I'd like to point out that some of this is already covered in
http://live.gnome.org/MarketingTeam_2fWebsiteUpdates
at the bottom of the page (I should really add a TOC soon).
www.gnome.org/about/products is supposed to list applications and other
major parts of GNOME. This could point to /projects if the page is cleaned
up. Additionally, the tour covers some apps, too, if I understood Murray
correctly.
If www.gnome/download indeed redirects to wgo/start one day, we just
need to move some of the information in the "release notes slash page"
to the current wgo/start page, and we're done.
Cheers,
Claus
