Fingers crossed :)
We need to think of a backup plan in case the Iceland ash cloud throws 'roet in
het eten' (ash in the dinner, dutch idiom).

Yes, we have bio's that speakers entered when submitting their proposals I
believe. There is an outstanding request to the web team to make the program
available on the website with these bio's and abstracts attached, could you
coordinate with them (and design) to actually make this happen??
Are the bio's all in one place?

I like it, how would this work out practically?
I could put these into the Announcements, but then we'd have to change that title to Blog. Another, slightly more ideal way, could be to start a private blog that got picked up by not only planet GNOME but also distro planets (fed, RH, deb, ub, *bsd, etc) and possibly even planetKDE. =P I'm sure there are interested users on all of those who could come. Problem is, are there any critea for joining these sites? Could we get in trouble for spamming?

Perhaps, as it seems there is no action on the part of the web- and design ppl
on this yet..
Ok, on it!

Not sure what you're on about here??
Oh, I see that it is a twitter/etc aggregator.. but it doesn't work on my box.. This could be a cool thing especially during the event...
