Yes, because if you DO NOT toggle the "use fuzzy routines" option for the learn buffer lookups (which is the default BTW) then only exact matches are taken over as translation; and I think an exact translation is a good translation.
Maybe we could make this choosable for the next release but hey, for now it's good -- I wouldn't prefer to put it into the fuzzy crowd as the fuzzy messages are determined by msgfmt and not by us -- we're just parsing/changing the state. And an autotranslated translation is normally good enough to be in the state of being "Translated" (huh?).
