I've looked at the file but can't imagine what could be causing that
error.

Could you try playing around with it a bit? It's obviously difficult for
us to do anything without access to that platform and compiler.

If you don't make any progress, please do leave a bug report in
bugzilla, with exact details of the platform and compiler versions used.
