Good idea.

What about providing a package of these snippets in a downloadable fashion
with a "viewer" and maybe some search capabilities ?

As I mentioned earlier I packaged the examples that come with the distro into
one file mainly to test the idea:

  http://www.szabgab.com/download/gtk-perl-demo.gz

In a similar way this repository of examples (or code snippets) could be
packaged in some way.

We could either use the CVS repository of the main project or if
that's not possible
I can provide a Subversion repository.
