I can help here: I spent many unhappy hours trying to get the

Thanks. I can use all the help I can get. I see that there were
versions 5.8 and 5.10. I just downloaded the latest 5.10 windows
installer. I installed it and made sure its path came first.
Typing perl --version confirms I get 5.10.
I got a lot farther this time. The Glade3-3.4.5 configure completed
with no errors that I could see. Now the make fails right away with
$ make
make all-recursive
make[1]: Entering directory `/d/glade3-3.4.5'
Making all in po
make[2]: Entering directory `/d/glade3-3.4.5/po'
file=`echo az | sed 's,.*/,,'`.gmo \
&& rm -f $file && -o $file az.po
/bin/sh: -o: command not found
make[2]: *** [az.gmo] Error 127
make[2]: Leaving directory `/d/glade3-3.4.5/po'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/d/glade3-3.4.5'
make: *** [all] Error 2
For whatever it is worth, I see the output of
echo az | sed 's,.*/,,'
is just az
Did you run into this? Any suggestions?
