compile theme dll/def file

Hi

I nearly got all things together to compile a gtk 1.3 theme file under win2k.
But the last thing is the "engine.def" file, which functions to export.
My problem is that I can't make a working "engine.def". 
I only found the reference and tried to do it the way described, but it doesn't seem to work.

Does somebody have a sample .def file or a small tool which can create such ones?
Or even an engine.def file?

The functions to export are:
      void        theme_init            (GtkThemeEngine *engine);
      void        theme_exit            (GtkThemeEngine *engine);
