Re: gtk-term widget?



I appreciate these observations. The last thing we need is a GnomePL,
everything using gtk should be gnome compliant ;-)
This is nothing personal, isn't it? The only reason to make
gnome-independent software is to be cross-platform. And until at least one
user is still prefering KDE, I shouldn't deprive him to use my software,
should I? The user should be free to choose, that's why we are doing free
software, isn't it? Among other things, we are saving our fellas a bunch of
money. That's the way I think and I'd appreciate you to understand. That's
why my programs will compile with or without Gnome, taking advantage of
Gnome while it's present. BTW, I've only seen Gnome installed on PC's and
some Alpha-Linux boxes, I won't wait until averybody has Gnome on their
computers at my lab to see them using my program. I'm not starting a
cross-fire, you may or may not think like I do, I just made my point.
