I'm a rookie to Gnome/GTK. Just had helix??? installed on my solaris 7
box at work then got myself a sinus infection and haven't had time to play
with it. Decided to give gtk+ programming a try and after many question
and many answers I went a bought GNOME/GTK+ PRogramming Bible by Author
Griffith. IDG books # 4640-6 IT has told me more since I bouth it
Saturday than any of the other online documentaion/examples I have found.

Would this be a good buy, to learn the basics, or would it be better just to follow a few basic tutorials on the web before I invest.
