Users new to CVS should keep in mind that to get an updated version of
the CVS repository, they only need to do a "cvs update -d" on the
directory containing the sources you want to update (ie, checkouts are
only required the first time you get the sources).

There is a mailing list that keeps track of the cvs commits made to
the Gimp/gtk/gnome trees: send mail to:

cvs-commits-list-request@nuclecu.unam.mx 

to get into those mailing lists.
